The concept behind Coffee Break revolves around an astronaut and his attempts to make coffee while on duty, the twist is if the player does something wrong during the process he will destroy the Earth. This game blends puzzles with absurdities granting a playtime that won't be forgotten.
For the game Coffee Break I crafted a diverse soundtrack that brings personality to the main character and the various sub-characters. Each character is brought to life through a unique blend of orchestral music, synth wave, and metal, reflecting their distinct traits and interactions. These musical styles not only convey the characters' personalities but also enhance the game's puzzle-solving elements by engaging players with thematic and dynamic soundscapes. The use of varied musical genres aims to mirror the characters' witty and humorous exchanges, adding depth and enjoyment to the overall gameplay experience.
In scenarios where the player can manipulate most objects, attention is given to how these objects behave and sound in real life. This meticulous approach ensures that every interaction, whether it’s the creaking of a chair or the clinking of metal objects, contributes to a sensation of realism. Yet, in the context of an absurd scenario, these realistic sounds are carefully balanced to maintain engagement and immersion.
